ASYX is looking for:

A person that combines the HR role with the office manager role. From
an HR perspective we expect the following:

You will manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource
office. You manage the administration of the human resources policies,
procedures and programs. You carry out responsibilities in the
following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource
Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and
development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and
employment.

You are responsible for all or part of these areas:
- recruiting and staffing logistics;
- organizational and space planning;
- performance management and improvement systems;
- employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting;
- employee orientation, development, and training;
- policy development and documentation;
- employee relations;
- company employee communication;
- compensation and benefits administration;
- employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; and
- employee services and counseling.

You originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that
will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that
emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal
attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior
workforce.

You coordinate implementation of services, policies, and programs
through Human Resources staff and reports to the Managing Director.

Primary Objectives:
- Development of a superior workforce.
- Development of the Human Resources department.
- Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes
quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Personal ongoing development.

From an Office Management point of view we expect the following:
- Developing office procedures and policies
- Filing and maintaining office records
- Dictating, typing and word processing
- Interviewing prospective clerical employees
- Resolving inter office disputes

As a person you are:
- An enthusiastic and hands on person who is looking for a challenge
in a dynamic IT environment
- A person who can work in a team as well as individually.
- A person with an enormous drive to succeed

Requirements:
- You have at least 5 years experience in HR
- You possess good English speaking and - writing skills
- Fully conversant and up-to-date with all aspects of employment law
and HR best practice
- Experience in the development and implementation of employment
policies and procedures
- Experience at recruitment interviewing and assessment at a senior level
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly
- Influencing, persuading, coaching and negotiating skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare and present reports to director level
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- Excellent planning and organisation skills to meet deadlines
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, email and the Internet
- Excellent attention to detail
- Co-operative and supportive team player
- A good working knowledge of HR systems
- Ability to create HR communications appropriate for the audience
